What is on-premise or private AI?
The AI model runs on a computer physically located in your own office, instead of on a company's servers over the internet. Your documents are read on that machine and stay on it. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is available to any AI provider.
Why would a CA firm or law firm need this?
Because professional confidentiality does not allow client material to be handed to a third party. Uploading a client's financials or a case file to a public AI service is exactly that. A private setup lets the firm use AI on its own archive without breaching the duty it owes its clients.
Is on-premise AI as good as ChatGPT or Claude?
Not for everything, and we will not pretend otherwise. The largest cloud models remain more capable at open-ended reasoning. For the job most firms actually want — searching, summarising and answering questions across their own documents — models that run on a single office machine are genuinely good today. We will show you on your own files before you buy anything.
What hardware is required?
It depends on how many people use it and how large your archive is. A small firm can often run on a single well-specified desktop machine. We assess your workload and specify what is actually needed, rather than selling you more than the job requires.
Does this help with DPDP Act compliance?
It removes one of the harder questions, because personal data is not transferred to a third-party processor at all. It is not by itself a compliance certificate — you still need your own policies, consent and security practices. We can explain clearly what our part does and does not cover, in writing.
What happens if it breaks?
That is what the monthly support covers: monitoring, updates, and a person to call. It is your machine, so you are never locked out of your own data if you stop working with us.
